Mason Greenwood of Manchester United is a forward, and Gazzetta claims that Juventus thinks he would be a fantastic addition to their assault.
The former football player Greenwood was charged with three counts after being taken into custody on suspicion of rape and sexual assault.
The allegations were abruptly withdrawn under unclear circumstances, but he is still permitted to play football and is currently on loan from United to Getafe in La Liga.
Most football fans want no involvement with Greenwood because of his arrest and the rape and sexual assault charges that followed.
According to Gazzetta, Greenwood is viewed by Juventus as a cheap option and a young, gifted football player who can assist them in the wings.
Greenwood could be less expensive in terms of money, but the expense and harm to the team’s already damaged reputation would be far higher.
Fans would become less trusting of the club as a result, as they now have little incentive to like anyone who makes decisions for the team.
In terms of football ability, Federico Chiesa is far superior to Greenwood, and this signing may force Chiesa out.
It’s unlikely that any football-centric explanations would convince any understandably irate Juventus fans who can’t see why the team would be interested in the Man United forward—Greenwood isn’t exactly blowing it up for Getafe.
Juventus has produced a large number of young, gifted football players who are native to the country and do not possess any grave moral issues. It feels like a slap in the face to those players and Juventus supporters to even express interest in Greenwood.
