Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, has acknowledged that his team “always suffers” when playing Brentford.
This Saturday, the Gunners take on Thomas Frank’s team with the goal of winning the Premier League.
With 24 goals in their last five Premier League games, Arteta is coming into the match in incredible form.
Arteta, though, is concerned about Brentford, who last weekend held Chelsea to a 2-2 tie.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Arteta added, “Every point that we left [last season] hurts.” The Bees held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw in the rematch last season.
“It remains there, and that’s all.” But the stakes are really high. We are aware of how tough the match is. We consistently lose to Brentford.
