Attacker Erling Haaland of Manchester City has stated that Pep Guardiola does not want him to return to the Etihad Stadium hurt after the international break.
Haaland has traveled to Norway to play in their international friendly against Slovakia on Tuesday and the Czech Republic on Friday.
Haaland was shown gritting his teeth in agony in some unsettling video from the Norway training camp earlier this week.
After missing almost two months due to a foot ailment, the 23-year-old has only lately resumed playing.
The only thing Pep said, according to Haaland, was, “I will come after you if you’re not well when you come back” (as per Daily Mail via Norwegian daily VG).
