Andy Brassell, a football specialist from Europe, has selected Bernardo Silva as Portugal’s finest player, beating out Cristiano Ronaldo.
At the moment, Silva is a Manchester City player, and Ronaldo is at Al-Nassr.
“Roberto Martinez does have options,” Brassell stated in an interview with talkSPORT. However, I believe that because the Portuguese team is so good, people will understand if he chooses those routes.
“I believe Cristiano Ronaldo has realized that he will have to accept the fact that he will occasionally start and other times be a member of the team.
“It’s interesting because, two or three years ago, in Portugal, you would have been considered a heretic if you had criticized Ronaldo.” But as of late, I believe everyone realizes that Bernardo Silva is their finest player.
